Ability to Produce is Key to Employment
Haggard takes the complex issue of unemployment and makes it practical for all of us. Bottom line: we all have the responsibility to increase our value by improving our ability to produce either a service for others or a product others need. Unless we are physically handicapped or cognitively impaired, we can all improve ourselves and thus, improve our odds of gainful employment.

Ted Haggard kindly addresses all of us, Romney and Obama.
Ted Haggard boldly teaches that when anyone or any entity is disciplined in their spending, they get stronger, but if they overspend and have to excessively borrow, it makes them weaker. This principle applies to our personal lives, families, churches and businesses, as well as governments. In this video, Haggard argues that governments all over the world, including our own, are excessively funding good causes, which appear to be beneficial to it's citizens, but in fact overspending causes these governments to become weaker. This is a very interesting and "simply put" video that applies to all of us.

Pastor Ted on Christian Arrogance
In this video Pastor Ted Haggard describes some of the foundations of why others think Christians are arrogant and have become a hate group. Here he talks about building respectful, authentic relationships with others rather than seeing non-Christians as subjects who need to be persuaded and conquered. 01:05 Where did this position of Christian hate come from? 02:14 Eph. chapter 1 talks about God chose us before the world was formed. 03:32 We need to stop thinking "us" and "them", as Christians, we are all saints and sinners at the same time.

Pastor Ted to be on Celebrity Wife Swap
Ted Haggard believes that using wisdom and discretion in our speech is constructive. In this video he communicates that it is ill advised for anyone to say everything they think. That is a mark of immaturity and poor training. James 3:6 says, "And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself." Ted has been accused of not saying everything he thinks, but instead trying to say what he believes is appropriate. Here he gives his response. He encourages all of us to use our words to encourage.

Birth of St. James
After the church and the Overseers released Ted from the contracts signed after the 2006 crisis (see crisis facts at tedhaggard.com for additional details), the Haggards had no where to attend church in the Colorado Springs area because their attendance would have divided the congregations of any preexisting church. In order to have Christian fellowship, they formed a small fellowship called St. James Church. This is the documentary The Learning Channel (TLC) produced and aired six months after the launch of the church.

Exile in Arizona
In 2007, Ted Haggard submitted to church authorities who required him to move out of the state of Colorado, find employment outside of ministry, never acknowledge that he had ever pastored New Life Church, and never correct misinformation in the press (see crisis facts at tedhaggard.com for additional details). Alexandra Pelosi, a family friend of the Haggards, and her husband and newly born son, came to visit and recorded this material on their family video camera. After Ted was released from the Overseer's contract, Alexandra took the footage to HBO who created and aired this documentary.

The Haggard's Resurrected
Five years after the scandal, Ted and Gayle used Celebrity Wife Swap on ABC to communicate the vitality and health of their resurrection. ABC taped over 100 hours and edited the tape down to a 42 minute show for broadcast. Through they edited out some of the most profound ministry moments, Ted and Gayle received thousands of glowing internet responses and are continuing to see the positive ministry results from doing this show. "It was a wonderful five day family activity that resulted in ministry to millions of people without any cost to us. We were honored to have the opportunity," said Haggard.
